The Fighter's journey 7/8/2011

This is a another judo class post.  The main waza (technique) that we worked on was Harai-tsurikomi-ashi.
This was a really fun leg technique.  If you truly get your his in on the entrance and move your upper body out of the way, it is effortless and uke (receiver of the the throw) goes flying. I was a little worried about my ribs, but it did not bother me much at all.  I especially was worried about newaza (mat work) but it did not even bother me then.  The randori (sparring) went well I even got a few throws off and I took my ukemi on several throws.  So over all a great training evening.
